Cafe Justicia provides education for 218 students in 2011
Donations from Canadians and profits from Cafe Justicia sales made it possible for 218 Mayan students in 2011 to remain in school and develop the skills the CCDA communities need to assume control of their own development.
This includes 35 students in secondary or post-secondary education (including one studying Agronomy in Cuba!) and 183 primary school students in the new CCDA communities whose teachers' salaries are paid from the Education Fund.
